Analysis of several methods of weaving stainless steel wire mesh

Mar. 01, 2024

Analysis of several methods of weaving stainless steel wire mesh:

1. Mat mesh twill weave

Each diameter wire passes above and below every two weft wires crosswise, and each weft wire crosses above and below every two diameter wires.

2.Dense weaving

The warp and weft wires have different diameters and different mesh numbers. They are characterized by sparse warp and dense weft, thick warp and thin weft. The length direction is warp threads, and the width direction is weft threads. Dense mesh is divided into plain weave and twill weave.

3. Double wire Dutch weaving

This weave is very similar to the twill Dutch weave. There are two weft threads that can overlap closely with the warp threads. This kind of silk cloth is mostly used for micron level filtration.

4. Twill weave

A weaving method in which each warp wire crosses over and under every two weft wires, and each weft wire crosses over and under every two diameter wires.

5. Plain weave

Plain weave is a weaving method in which each warp wire crosses up and down each weft wire, the diameter wire is the same thickness as the weft wire, and the warp wire and weft wire are at an angle of 90 degrees. The plain weave mesh is relatively square and the mesh size is uniform. Each warp thread passes up and down each weft thread crosswise, the diameter thread is the same thickness as the weft thread, and the warp thread and weft thread are woven at a 90-degree angle.
